China Foreign Exchange Trade System (CFETS) published that CFETS RMB Index on 31 December 2024 closed at 101.47, gaining 1.40% from the end of last month.

In order to facilitate the market to observe the change of RMB effective exchange rate from different perspectives, CFETS also published RMB indices based on BIS currency basket and SDR currency basket respectively. On 31 December 2024, the above two indices closed at 107.22 and 94.54 respectively, gaining 1.40% and 0.70% from the end of last month respectively.
